Heart & Stroke Big Bike
On Friday June 6, 2014, Effort Trust employees and associates within all the departments joined together to raise money and awareness for the Heart & Stroke Foundation by riding the "BIG BIKE".
"The Heart & Stroke Big Bike is a team event geared towards community organizations, companies and groups. Teams made up of 29 enthusiastic riders each commit to raise $50 or more. A driver is provided by the Foundation and riders pedal through their community in support of heart disease and stroke research."
We would like to thank ALL the Big Bike Riders this year, as well as ALL those that were able to participate in the fundraising to support our riders. They had so much fun riding through the streets of Hamilton to show their support. In total, Effort Trust raised $6,517.00 for the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Way to go everyone!
