Family Love Day!
What a success! On Valentine's Day this year my family and I were in a charity bowling event to support the Canadian Counsel of the Blind, Junior Association. Sherwood Lanes in Hamilton hosted the event and it was a great success. The Association rose over $7,000.00 for their worthy cause and my team won for "most money raised by a junior bowler" and "most money raised by one bowling team".
Big thanks to my Effort Trust and WRS family that donated and sponsored my family team for this event. We spent a wonderful "Family Love Day" as we called it, together, and had fun doing so. We even got to bowl blindfolded to learn what it was like for the children that we were there to raise money for. It was a real enlightenment for all of us.
