REMEMBERING TODAY AND ALWAYS

REMEMBERING TODAY AND ALWAYS

Effort Trust would like to take this time to speak to the community on a day when so many emotions are had by so many individuals. Pride, sorrow, love, tragedy, commitment and grief are to name but a few. With the horrific events on Canadian soil only a few weeks ago, we are reminded that not all Soldiers are lost in battle, but that all fight for our Country. They fight for our Freedom, our Rights and Independence. We are lucky to be Canadian! Whether we are born here, or come here to find a new life, we all need to come together and Remember why we have benefits that so many other Countries do not have.

Remembrance Day is recognized once a year, on November 11, but to the friends and families of our Fallen Soldiers, they are reminded every day of the sacrifices these men and women have made for all of us. A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to all of them today and always. Although this may never be enough, it is a start. If you cross paths with someone that you know is serving or has served in our Armed Forces, please take a moment to stop and make a gesture of thanks to that individual. What takes you merely seconds, could stay with them a lifetime.

This Blog is dedicated to the Memory of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo of Hamilton, ON and to all of the fallen Canadian Soldiers that have sacrificed themselves for the sake of others.
